The Consequences of Smoking - How the years of smoking has affected you!
Over my 26 years in practice I have seen and heard just about everything that can happen, health wise, to smokers.
The human body can protect itself and eventually recover from many severe
physical and emotional problems relating to smoking .However, after about 20 years
of smoking the body begins to lose the ability to do this. It now finds it
difficult to defend itself from the dangerous chemicals that suppress the immune system.
The immune system is our first line of defence against these terrible infections and diseases. Without this ability to defend itself the way is open for very catastrophic and deadly illnesses.
